Fees and payments
After your initial examination, we can provide you with a treatment plan, treatment options and fee estimate. This means you can choose the treatment option that best suits you with no hidden costs or surprises.
Due to the nature of our services, it is not generally possible to give a treatment plan or quotation without a consultation appointment, sometimes x-rays may also be required. The cost of these services can be given to you when you are making an appointment.
We offer Bulk Billing for children eligible for the Child Dental Benefits Schedule. Please inform reception at the time of booking the appointment that your child is eligible for this scheme and bring along their Medicare card to the start of their appointment, so we can confirm their eligibility and provide you with the associated paperwork.
To be eligible for the scheme children must be:
- aged between 2–17 years
- receive, or their family receives, certain government benefits such as Family Tax Benefit Part A
- be eligible for Medicare.
Basic dental services include dental exams, dental x-rays, dental fillings, fissure sealants, and extractions.
If you are unsure of eligibility you can phone Medicare on 1800 633 4227 or contact our staff to find out on your behalf.
We offer Bulk Billing for all eligible Veterans’ Affairs card holders. All gold card holders receive free dental treatment (in accordance with DVA dental schedule – some restrictions apply). White card holders can check eligibility by phoning 1800 555 254. Available treatment includes preventive dental, general dental, major dental and denture services. Please inform reception when making an appointment if you are a holder of a DVA card so we can prepare the associated paperwork.
Private Health Funds
We accept all health funds. Please bring your health fund card as we can then process your claim on the spot using our HICAPS terminal.
We provide HICAPS to process your health fund claim instantly. This means that you no longer have to pay the full amount for treatment upfront – simply pay the gap at the end of your appointment.
We accept the majority of health funds. Please bring your health fund card to every appointment so we can process your claim on-the-spot through HICAPS. Failure to do so will mean that you will have to pay for the treatment in full and then claim your rebate from the health fund directly. Health funds do not allow us to process your claim at a later date.
We accept the following payment methods: Cash, EFTPOS, Visa and MasterCard. Payment is expected on the day of service unless prior arrangements have been made.
