During the COVID-19 pandemic All dental practices have been temporarily restricted in the type of treatment that can be performed.
These restrictions have now been relaxed and our practice is open from Monday 27 April 2020 to treat patients under the Australian Dental Association’s (ADA) recommended Level 2 restrictions.
This means that we are now able to treat a greater range of conditions than were previously permitted, including general preventative dentistry, such as check-ups.
There will remain some non-urgent treatments that the ADA recommends are postponed. We can offer you guidance on the best way to manage your condition until the restrictions are relaxed further.
In addition, we will continue with the additional guidelines that have been designed to keep you, and our team, safe. These include implementing additional infection control measures to minimise the risk of spreading COVID-19. You will also notice an increase in environmental cleaning at the practice, restrictions on the amount of people allowed to attend the practice at any one time and a change in the type of protective equipment worn by staff.
With everyone’s safety in mind it is also requested that you notify the clinic if you;
- Have travelled overseas in the past 14 days or have had contact with someone that has
- Feel unwell, including but not limited to symptoms of Covid-19 such as fever, cough, shortness of breath
- Have had contact with a suspected or confirmed case of covid-19
- Or been tested for Covid-19
